MX-UK9 consists of the MX-H9-MFH MicroFine Solder Handpiece for MX Systems and the MFH-WS9 Workstand.
MX-H9-MFH is designed specifically for working under the microscope on components down to 01005.
Compatible with Metcal MFTC cartridges, available in Chisel, Chisel Slot, Conical, Conical Bent, Conical Reach, and Hoof geometries.
MFTC cartridges ensure fixed soldering temperatures through Metcal SmartHeat® Inductive Heating Technology, available in 600 Series (675 °F / 357 °C) and 700 Series (775 °F / 413 °C)
MFH-WS9 Workstand offers advanced features like:

Connection Validation™ (CV)
Connection Validation™ (CV) evaluates the quality of the solder joint by calculating the intermetallic compound formation and provides closed-loop feedback to the operator. CV provides feedback to the operator via the LED light ring integrated into the handpiece. It takes the risk associated with the variables involved in the soldering activity and removes the success and failure determination of a good solder joint out of the hands of the operator. CV complements the skill of the operator to judge the quality of a solder joint by introducing an objective method of evaluating solder joint quality. This systemic and objective approach provides repeatability and a measurable standard for the soldering process.
